Recently Penguin Books issued new editions of books by George Orwell. I have always been a fan of the novel 1984, but when I saw this cover by David Pearson, I had to have it. The title redacted is perfect.

This edition is now out of print, so I had a few sent to me from vintage book dealers. Simply one of the best book covers, ever.

Subject matter varies wildly but is always infused with the spirit of creativity and a respect for good design.
