Onigiri Raw Aluminum Rollerball

$74.00

Taking inspiration from Japanese Onigiri rice balls, Before Breakfast spent four years designing and refining their collection of writing instruments. The result is a soft, chunky, triangular shape made from tactile raw aluminum. The finish is left unsealed so it will acquire character over time. Something to which we all aspire.

The pen’s rounded edges improve writing comfort and allow it to sit on the desktop without rolling. This capped style pen is ideal for those who are always on the move. Made of raw aluminium to ensure its durability and low weight.

Also available in Ballpoint and Mechanical Pencil, see our complete Before Breakfast collection here

From Before Breakfast, a London-based stationery company. The name of the brand is a homage to the quote found in Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, the sequel to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: “Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” They state "The world that is your desk is made up of a number of objects you use, whether it is for work or for your studies. Stationery probably makes up the smallest objects in this world, but the possibilities you have with pen and paper are endless. "

We are pleased to offer the option of a free handwritten message on one of our signature gold edged notecards. Enter your text in the "Click here to add any order notes or gift messages” box on the first page of checkout. Notecards are only available to certain products; anything shipped from our rubber stamp warehouse is not eligible for a handwritten notecard, but if you enter a message in the box at checkout it will be printed on the packing slip.
These carefully chosen and crafted pieces represent a considered mix of the esoteric and the highly pragmatic. Many of these simple things reflect the hand of the artisan or the quiet genius of the inventor. They are useful in ways that are difficult to quantify but, if pressed, we would say they make life a little more efficient and a lot more beautiful.

We would be great together -
