Campi Neto Scissors

$95.00

The iconic scissors by renowned Italian designer Antonia Campi. Originally introduced in 1958, the Neto Scissors became an instant classic and vintage pairs have long been sought after by collectors. Campi’s distinct design utilizes an offset handle, a feature that is usually found in professional shears. This improves the comfort of the scissors significantly, and reduces wrist strain.

Born in Sondrio, Italy in 1921, Antonia Campi is a renowned ceramicist, jewelry, metal and glass designer. She was awarded a Compasso D'Oro in 2011 for a lifetime of achievement in design and her work is in the permanent collection of MoMA.

These scissors are as beautiful as they are functional and long lasting.

These carefully chosen and crafted pieces represent a considered mix of the esoteric and the highly pragmatic. Many of these simple things reflect the hand of the artisan or the quiet genius of the inventor. They are useful in ways that are difficult to quantify but, if pressed, we would say they make life a little more efficient and a lot more beautiful.
