Named after the Japanese word for pencil, Enpitsu mechanical pencils combine the simple form of a wooden pencil with the convenience of a retractable lead that never needs sharpening.
To simplify the process of refilling lead it utilizes a mechanism that allows ease of refill without removing the cap. To install a piece of lead, simply drop it into the lead chamber through the hole at the top of the pencil. Even when the pencil is turned upside down, its inner mechanism prevents the lead from falling out. Accepts standard lead refills.
