No. 10 Oak Nesting Trays

$115.00

Take your pile of notes onto the porch or your watercolors out to the dock. These beautifully simple and practical wooden trays are so handy for arranging and transporting your desk supplies or organizing them on your desk. Designed by Osaka-based Teruhiro Yanagihara, a designer and the creative director of 1616/arita japan, the set is inspired by Japanese trays used to serve traditional confections. The wood is light yet sturdy, with a lovely well-defined grain.

This design is crafted in smooth unfinished oak by Skagerak in Denmark. It displays the inspiring values of this family-owned, FSC-certified B corp: natural wood, unadorned beauty, sustainable sourcing, responsible production. Clean lines, meticulous craftsmanship, flawless functionality, and a focus on sustainable natural materials are inherent in Danish design and Denmark’s culture.

These carefully chosen and crafted pieces represent a considered mix of the esoteric and the highly pragmatic. Many of these simple things reflect the hand of the artisan or the quiet genius of the inventor. They are useful in ways that are difficult to quantify but, if pressed, we would say they make life a little more efficient and a lot more beautiful.

We would be great together -
