Dandelion Paperweight
A dandelion seed head preserved in resin by Hafod Grange—a small meditation on wishes suspended. This paperweight transforms botanical specimen into permanent observation, the spherical form allowing inspection from every angle.
Awarded the Tarian Label by the Design Council, the piece exemplifies the patience required in its production: each seed preserved intact, the resin hand-cast to achieve transparency without distortion. It functions as both practical object and quiet study in what we choose to preserve when most things disperse.
The dandelion itself carries cultural weight—wishes made, seeds scattered, childhood rituals of counting breaths. Here, that ephemeral gesture becomes fixed, a small reminder that some moments deserve to be held.

Please note: these are cast in resin, not glass. The resin has a gentle haze that is characteristic of every piece — part of its quiet, preserved-in-amber quality.

I was quite disappointed on this. The dandelion is lovely, but it’s cloudy inside the glass and not really very noticeable. I just looks like a cloudy orb.
Hi Kari — thank you for this honest review, and we're sorry the paperweight wasn't what you expected. To be fair to you: these are cast in resin, not glass, and the resin has a soft, slightly misty quality by nature — it's never crystal clear, and that's true of every piece Hafod Grange makes, not just yours. Reading your review, we realized our product page didn't make that clear enough, and we've updated it. If the piece isn't right for you, we completely understand — email us at store@wmscoshop.com and we'll arrange a free return and full refund. — Allison, Wms&Co.
Really pretty -- the only dandelion I want to see every day.
My wife loved it so much!
A delightful work of art that graces my desk and elevates the space. Smaller than I’d expected, but that does not diminish its charm. Buy one for yourself, or as a gift, and witness the aesthetic effect it has.
Wow, thank you so much for your kind words, and for truly 'getting it'! - Allison
