Mercury Ceramic Wall Hooks

Liquid reflection captured in ceramic form. These hooks present a play of light across their continuously glazed surface, each handcrafted piece finished with a distinctive dark chrome glaze. Singly, a subtle work of ceramic art; in multiples, they create a constellation of variations, each hook responding differently to changing light throughout the day.

Handmade in Milwaukee by Vincent and Paul Georgeson, whose Misewell studio produces objects that negotiate the boundary between industrial design and fine art—functional elements that refuse to be merely utilitarian. Part of our Misewell ceramic collection. Because each is formed and glazed by hand, subtle variations in shape and finish are inherent to the making—small imperfections are the signature of their craft, not defects.
