Yuta Segawa Vases: Gilded Charcoal

$64.00

Yuta Segawa, a Japanese ceramic artist based in London, creates intimate vessels that bridge traditional Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary minimalism. Each piece features a mottled charcoal glaze—dark, shifting tones touched with gilded highlights that catch the light. Individually thrown and fired to preserve the artist's distinctive touch.

The collection comprises six silhouettes (each sold separately), with each vessel measuring 2-3 inches—slightly more compact than our other Segawa series. Perfect for displaying a delicate stem or standing alone as a sculptural object.

With or without blooms, each is lovely on its own, or in a grouping, atop your nightstand, bathroom counter, desktop or wherever you want to catch sight of something beautiful.

These carefully chosen and crafted pieces represent a considered mix of the esoteric and the highly pragmatic. Many of these simple things reflect the hand of the artisan or the quiet genius of the inventor. They are useful in ways that are difficult to quantify but, if pressed, we would say they make life a little more efficient and a lot more beautiful.
