Natural Japanese Incense Sticks by Kousaido
Natural Japanese incense sticks in four single-wood scents, made in Japan by Kousaido. Each is blended from the wood powder and essential oil of its own tree, and the 20 sticks arrive in a wooden storage box that is ready to give as a gift.
Japanese cypress (hinoki) is fresh and woody, like a deep breath of forest air, blended from Kiso hinoki grown in Nagano with essential oil and rare resins. Kitayama sugi cedarwood is elegant and calming, from cedar grown in Keihoku, Kyoto. Japanese red pine, also grown in Keihoku, is powerful yet subtly sweet, an aroma that awakens the senses and brings a refreshing depth to a room. White camphor tree is cool and refreshing, with the calming clarity of deep forest air, blended from camphor wood powder sourced from Kyushu with essential oil and rare resins.
Natural essential oils, wood powders and resins mean you may see resin spots on the sticks, a natural part of Japanese woods.
