These scissors are amazing. Not only beautiful but actually quite functional and heavy duty. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the standing up gimmick. The problem is they don't really stand up well. They're a hand crafted item which naturally means there are small imperfections meaning the scissors are a little finicky to balance upright, even with the magnetic base. The magnetic holder is still very useful for attaching to the underside of a desk, shelf, or even on a wall. However, I came home to see the scissors had fallen over many times when stood up on the desk. So yeah, they're not really going to stand up but they're still worth the money.
