Signe Hytte Almond Book Weight: Brass
A book weight that leans into your touch and comes back to center. Shaped like an almond, it rests on the page to hold an art book, catalogue or recipe open, and when the book closes it stays on the home office desk or shelf as a small sculpture.
Signe Hytte designs with a Danish sensibility, clean and purposeful with a touch of play, and the Almond lands somewhere between art object and tool. The brass is satin-brushed and untreated, so it gathers a patina over time, a quiet record of the reading it has held open.
The Almond Book Weight is a small collection rather than a single object: the same balanced almond in a range of metals and stones, and in more than one size. Call it a book weight or a page holder, there is an Almond to suit the book and the shelf.
