Japanese Square Glass Incense Holder by Kousaido

$29.00

A square glass incense holder from Japan, graphic and geometric in outline, with a softly rippled surface that keeps it organic. Made in Kyoto City by Kousaido, it holds a single stick of Japanese incense upright on a desk, bedside table or small shelf.

The glass feels like water: soft, clear and slightly irregular, holding the light. With a stick of incense lit, it becomes a small, quiet point of focus.

Kousaido is a Japanese incense maker established in Kyoto in 1994. Its soft fragrances draw on the cultural heritage of Kyoto and on the seasonal landscapes and literary traditions of Japan.
