In a Paris workshop built by Gustave Eiffel, the engineer behind the tower that carries his name, this pad has been made the same way since the 1920s. A 4.25 x 7.25 inch aluminum body holds a stack of micro-perforated paper in place with a brass nut-and-bolt system, so pages tear away clean and the pad stays put on rubber feet. Its name, FAF, is short for feuille à feuille, sheet by sheet.
It holds its own on a desk, but it's just as at home on a kitchen counter for the running grocery list, or a bedside table for the thought you don't want to lose before morning. Built to be handled daily, wherever daily happens to be.
This listing includes both the pad and its refill packs, each holding 200 sheets, in blank or dot grid paper.
