Tabata Wall Lamp: Black

$550.00

The Tabata wall lamp emerges as a compelling intersection of light and sculptural form. In conceiving this piece, Luca Nichetto inverted the traditional relationship between form and function, creating first and foremost a work of art that happens to emanate light. The three interconnected metal modules appear to hover in space, their geometric composition offering a different visual experience from every angle.

When illuminated, the lamp transforms its environment through carefully diffused light, while maintaining its strong artistic presence even when unlit. Each piece is crafted by &Tradition, marking the continued dialogue between contemporary art and functional design in modern spaces.

Born into Venice's storied Murano glassmaking community in 1976, Luca Nichetto's design language reflects this rich heritage. Working between studios in Venice and Stockholm since 2006, he creates pieces that challenge the boundary between art and functionality, earning recognition from institutions like the Centre Pompidou and London's Design Museum.

&Tradition stands as a testament to design's capacity for meaningful impact, both aesthetic and ethical. As a certified B Corp, they merge environmental and social responsibility with their core mission: bridging Denmark's design heritage with contemporary innovation.

These carefully chosen and crafted pieces represent a considered mix of the esoteric and the highly pragmatic. Many of these simple things reflect the hand of the artisan or the quiet genius of the inventor. They are useful in ways that are difficult to quantify but, if pressed, we would say they make life a little more efficient and a lot more beautiful.

We would be great together -
