MT has been making specialty paper adhesives in Japan since 1927. Their washi tape line came later — 2006, the result of three Tokyo designers who had been using industrial masking tape for studio projects and wanted something better. The large-core format is genuinely hard to find in the U.S.; Wms&Co. is one of the few shops that carries it. The colors — mustard, burnt orange, smokey mint, duck blue, matte black, and others — are muted enough to work alongside almost anything on a desk without competing. Writes on cleanly, removes without residue. Compatible with our range of 3" large core tape dispensers.

These carefully chosen and crafted pieces represent a considered mix of the esoteric and the highly pragmatic.
