Three-tiered Wooden Storage Box
Three identical wooden tiers stack beneath a single lid — a tiered Jubako storage box built on a Japanese design principle: get maximum use out of minimum footprint by making one object do the work of several. Each tier lifts out independently, and because all three share the same footprint, any tier can sit top, middle, or bottom. The internal dividers are removable too, so a compartmentalized tier opens into a single unbroken space and back again depending on what it's holding.
Made in Japan from tsuga wood with a matte urethane finish, joined at the corners with visible woodworking at every tier.
A considered object for a desk, shelf, or entryway. Part of our Japanese Minimalism collection.
