Shin Rin Yoku Room Mist

From a single Hinoki tree in Hinohara Village comes a room mist that maps the arc of a day. Each bottle contains just two elements: pure water and Chamaecyparis obtusa essence, distilled to capture distinct moments in the life of this ancient cypress.

The AM mist holds the memory of early light filtering through forest - that first vital breath when trunk and roots wake to warmth. Its counterpart, PM, carries the soft weight of evening in its leaves, when the forest exhales and shadows pool beneath the canopy. Together they form a dialogue between morning's clarity and evening's contemplation.

This is forest bathing distilled to its essence, a practice refined in one of Tokyo's last rural enclaves where sustainable forestry has been an unbroken tradition since Edo times. Each mist is both fragrance and ritual object, transforming space through the wisdom held in microscopic droplets of forest air.
