Metal Book Stand 2.0: Black

The base of the Bookstand 2.0 is two flat planes of steel, crossed and angled — a form that reads as mid-motion even when nothing is in it. Set a book open inside and the whole object makes sudden sense: the spread pages and the splayed steel answer each other.

Matte black collapses the surface into the form — what you're seeing is the geometry, undistracted.
