Pen Type-C: Titanium Pocket Pen, Silver

$60.00

Thin enough to double as a bookmark, Pen Type-C is a titanium pocket pen built to disappear — into a wallet, a notebook spine, a shirt pocket. This one is bare grade 5 titanium, in a glass bead blast finish.

Slide it into a notebook spine and it holds your place. Clip it to a pocket and it rides along until you need it. A bent spring-steel guard protects the tip when it's not writing — flip the pen around and it snaps into position. The stainless steel clip lifts off with a flathead screwdriver, for anyone who'd rather carry it bare. It's built for Pilot's Hi-Tec-C Coleto ink cartridges, engineered not to dry out or leak — swap one by snapping the old cartridge free and pressing the new one into place.

Grade 5 titanium, glass bead blast finish, refillable Hi-Tec-C Coleto cartridge. Built to disappear, until it's needed.

Founded in 2009 by Che-Wei Wang and Taylor Levy, CW&T is a Brooklyn-based design studio operating at the intersection of engineering and everyday objects. Their practice strips away complexity to reveal essential forms, machining and testing each piece themselves in small batches. In 2022, the studio received the Cooper Hewitt's National Design Award for Product Design.
