Japanese Retro Ballpoint Pen

Penco's retro ballpoint pen borrows its two-tone silhouette from Hungary's ICO pen, the plastic office icon of 1970s Europe. Penco is the stationery line from Hightide, a Japanese company founded in Fukuoka in 1994 that draws its catalog from vintage American and European office design, refined with Japanese attention to material and function.

The pen leans into that nostalgia directly: a slim two-tone barrel in blue, black, red, or green, finished with a metal clip and cap tip. One millimeter tip, black ink, refillable.
