Manta Oval Ceramic Tray

$168.00

A sculptural oval ceramic tray with a wandering, wave-like rim, built to corral the small things wherever they collect — a desk, an entryway console, a dresser top — or to hold court as a serving piece at the table. Virginia Sin shaped the Manta Tray's undulating edge as a study in beautiful unpredictability, the same restless line she finds when people gather around food. It reads as comfortably holding rings and loose change as it does a melon and prosciutto. Available in Alabaster, a pure white, and Pebble, a softly speckled beige. Stoneware, dishwasher safe and hand wash preferred, made in Brooklyn, New York.

Virginia Sin, the artist behind these creations, works from her studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Sin is guided by a vision of creating "Things you can nest with. Things made slow. With two bare hands. Things worth sharing. Or hoarding. Things that help you find home, wherever you are." This ethos permeates every aspect of her work, from conception to execution.
