Portuguese Pencils: Kalimero
If the pen is mightier than the sword, where does that leave the pencil? Surely among the most ancient and powerful tools for communication. These Portuguese beauties have been handcrafted since 1907 in the Iberian Peninsula’s oldest pencil factory, a family-owned company renowned for high quality. They are made with fine and durable FSC-certified woods.
Kalimera means “good morning” in Greek and these unsharpened graphite pencils in a hexagonal shape with natural wood core are painted the thick, glossy yellow and burnished gold of pure sunshine.
Available in several colorways, see the full collection here.
