Rubber Stamp Questions
We offer a modification of existing imprint templates without charge if it is a clear and simple request. Examples of this are swapping out fonts (ordering #18 with the font from #38), removing design elements (removing the dots or line from #46), swapping design elements (adding the box from #67 to #07), and adding additional lines of text or more text per line (if the stamper size allows).
Architectural Stamps follow state guidelines, we cannot be responsible for adherence to these guidelines if design elements are changed.
All design modifications need to be simple enough to be accomplished on the first or second round of proofs, further modifications will be subject to an additional design fee.
Place your design requests in the Customer Notes box in the billing section of checkout. After placing your order you will receive an actual size proof of your imprint for approval.
Our Self-Inking Stamp features our retractable mechanism with a hidden ink pad. It also has a patented mechanism with interchangeable plates so you can use the same stamp with different typographic imprints. You have the option to choose a Gift Certificate for an imprint, so the recipient can choose their own artwork.
The more traditional wooden and cast bronze Hand Stamp needs a separate ink pad.
Both come in multiple sizes and colors and accommodate a customized version of one of our typographic templates; or your own artwork, which you can upload to the site.
Absolutely. You can use archival ink, fabric ink (great for personalizing kids clothes or adding branding to muslin totes). Pigment ink pads and metallic ink can only be used with Hand Stamps.
You can purchase additional ink in a wide range of colors online at Amazon.
Additional ink pads for our Self-inking Stamps are available on our site in the Rubber Stamps section. You can pop out the ink pad, wrap it in plastic wrap, and store for future use - see the usage video for details.
You can attach your art during the purchase process but if you forget, or have any trouble, please email the art to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number. We will confirm receipt and send you a proof.
You will receive a proof of your design via email for your review and approval. Make sure the email you give us during checkout is correct and please check your spam folder if you have not received the proof within 24 hours. Please approve your proof within two business days of receipt (asap for rush and holiday orders). We do not ship imprints without approval!
When inputting text please review your message carefully, checking spelling and all details. Capitalization and typographic styling will follow the text entered. If you have any special typographic requests (centered, flush left, italic, all caps etc.) please state that in the Customer Notes section of your cart at checkout. Of course, you will have your proof to review to check that the layout meets your satisfaction.
For a fully customized design, we would need a bulk order of stampers, or a design fee. Feel free to inquire about our design services, and please see the website of our other business designmw.com.
We generally send Custom Imprint proofs out via email within 24-48 business day hours; once you have contacted us with an approval to make plates it can take 4-5 business days for your order to process.
Transit times do not include Saturday, Sunday or holidays.

Sorry, while our creative headquarters are in NY we do not have a retail location or public showroom in NY. Our rubber stamps ship from our Virginia warehouse, all other goods ship from our Maryland warehouse.
